What started with just a small “act of kindness” has now developed into a mission to help the homeless. Tiffany and Deavin Ross gave birth to Purpose Fulfilled Community Outreach in just a few short months after relocating to Stone Mountain Georgia from their life long home town of Chicago, IL.
Our Mission at Purpose Fulfilled Community Outreach is to provide hope that supports recovery to underserved families and individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness through biblically based resources and services.
This journey over the past 9 years of our marriage with our beautifully blended family of 6 has had its fair share of ups and downs but a true inspiration of what God can do with two willing and obedient individuals who come together for one purpose – to serve God, one another and others.
About 9 months ago we privately had started feeding and spreading the gospel to the homeless here in Atlanta! My wife Tiffany has always had compassion and burden to the help the homeless she would make Zip loc bags full of goodies to keep in car so if she ever passed some one in need she would not be empty handed. She really made a believer out of me. At first I didn’t understand but just watching her inspired me to know that that’s actually being the hands and feet of Jesus. Not just talking about it but being about it… Love in Action! ❤️
But then she wanted to take it to another level and asked me one day could we stop going to church on Sundays and use what we would normally give as tithes/offering and instead use that time/money to go witness and feed homeless. Of course initially I was “like what in the world has gotten into this woman”and literally fear gripped me! but because I love my wife I eventually said ok let’s do it! And the rest is history.
We are in the process of establishing our 501c3 but at the moment our operations are fully self funded. We need this facility so YOU can join in on the MOVEMENT! So many people, friends, and neighbors want to get involved. Right now we give out approximately 100 blessing bags full of snacks, toiletries, blankets, and more on a weekly basis. We want to double or even triple our efforts. We are believing God to aquire this facility to take the vision to the next level.
This has been a lifelong dream of my wife Tiffany who has desired to be a entrepreneur and philanthropist from a very young age. Her creative talent has afforded her to start multiple businesses ovee the years in hopes of using those extra funds outside of her regular profession to help those in need.
She has always had a desire to help those in need, especially women and children. She has a proven track record of her efforts to back it up too. That is what truly inspired me when I first met her. Tiffany was a small business owner of a 24 hr wheelchair medical transportation service named Divine Drive. This little lady of mine was driving big 12 passenger wheelchair accessible vans to take the elderly to their doctor appointments. I watched her over the early years of our marriage go out of her way to accommodate every single request. She then grew the business to employ others and aquire multiple vans by FAITH. She truly believes that all things are possible. She continues to amaze me daily.
We married September of 2015 when she left her church where she served in multiple capacities as a youth leader and dance instructor under Pastor Belinda Hood (Love in Action Ministries) out of Chicago IL from 2005-2012 and Apostle Glenda McCullough( Kingdom Builders) in Joliet 2013-2015.
When we came together as one to attend my church under Apostle George Guilford and Charlotte Guilford (Ultimate Faith Christian Center) in Bolingbrook until 2021 she came in and immediately sought to serve in the same capacity in the youth and dance ministry until the Apostle and his wife tragically died during the Covid pandemic. In part we also want to carry on the legacy of our beloved over seers.
When we left UFCC we attended an evangelical church Pastor Jon Kalvig (The Compass Church) in Plainfield IL for a year (2022) where Tiffany got hired on staff as a Early Childhood Coordinator and created the most Holy Spirit led creative object lessons for their early childhood department.
We then moved to Georgia three days after Christmas in December of 2022 and since then we visited and got involved with several churches Embassy City (Apostle Brian Meadows), Spirit of Glory (Apostle John Harris) and Victory Church Norcross (Pastor Jon Bowie).
After residing as “newbies” in Georgia over this past year 2023 and not finding “quite the right fit” to become members again in a local church, it was then that we both realized there was a call of God upon our lives to start our own ministry! It was at that moment shortly thereafter with the leading of the Holy Spirit guidance met Pastors Patrice and Zachary Smith under the tutelage of John Eckhart Ministries who beared as witnesses to this call and saw there was undeniable quest to serve God’s people! Long story short we started the process with them to be ordained as pastors and will complete the process in April of 2024.
Tiffany had already went to ministry school. She graduated from Bill Winston Living Word School of Ministry and Missions 2009. While in attendance in 2008 she went to serve as missionary at Orphanage in Guatemala with SOMM Bill Winston.
My wife is truly a Proverbs 31 woman. She started a women’s Facebook live group and coined it Madame Royale’s Motivational Moments. Making time to pray for and with anyone who tuned in. Along with that she took it up a notch with a Online Spotify Podcast. She was a Foster Parent from (2010-2012) with an agency Our Children’s Homestead. She served and volunteered regularly with a food packing service Feed my Starving Children in Naperville IL that ships to hungry children in other countries.
Also, while in Georgia for only a short year in counting she sought out opportunities to volunteer. She served by reading books to school aged children for a Pajama Program that helps children learn the importance of having a bedtime routine to get proper rest so they can be successful in school.
She served as a domestic violence advocate completing an extensive certification program with Guardian Angel Community Service in Joliet IL. Also while here in Georgia she continued in that field volunteering for Without a Trace Ministries (Apostle Tina McCrae) in conjunction with the Dekalb Solicitor-General’s Office filing tons of backlogged domestic violence cases.
So as you can see this truly is a real love and passion she has and with your help can make this dream continue to unfold. I’m just so glad that we have found our Purpose and to know that this is the missing piece to the puzzle. So please allow God to speak to your heart and consider contributing to this most needed endeavor in our community and around the world.
The $4k will be used to secure the place and take it off the market and it will be reserved for US! Once that happens, the owner has given us 45 day grace to get things up and running, and then we will proceed with a grand opening in March! It takes a village! Zoning process has already been approved. Let’s go! Follow us on our
